A little story from my a trip hiking and camping in the Sierras with my dog Ginger. We hiked to over 10,000 feet on a trail, life as usual. The views were stunning, so I set up my easel to paint. As I mixed colors, the blue sky turned gray and snow flurries moved in strong. And Ginger started sniffing the packed snow, ugh, bear paw prints. Signs to pack up and head down the mountain! And that’s what we did.. A reminder that things don’t always go as planned and it’s wise to pivot then. And that’s wisdom. The view will forever bring that to me.
