Cliffside Show
Painted first on location at Heisler Park, this scene captures the golden hour magic that brings everything—and everyone—to a halt. The cliffside path is usually a steady stream of strolling tourists, leashed dogs, and selfie stops. But when the sky catches fire, everything slows.
People cluster along the railings, creating little human traffic jams—not out of impatience, but awe. Some trickle down to the beach. Others freeze mid-step, unable to look away as the ocean reflects the day’s final blaze of color. This painting is my attempt to bottle that pause. That hush. That unspoken agreement among strangers: Let’s just stand here a minute longer. Nature’s putting on a show.
36”x48” oil painting done on high quality Belgium linen panel, unframed, but ready to hang. Done with all non-toxic paints and sealed with a natural varnish that gives a subtle lavender scent. Comes with a beautiful hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
