Rise And Shine

$1,800.00

I first saw Guitar Lake in 2013—from the summit of Mount Whitney, its shimmer far below like a secret held in light. It stayed with me, unfinished. Eleven years later, I stood beside it. After a long day of backpacking through the Sierras, legs aching and stomachs growling, we reached it at dusk. Then—silence. The Whitney range burned gold behind the water, as if waiting.

We stood in silence, watching the mountain we would climb the next morning. Several thousand feet above us, the summit caught the last light—and instead of dread, we felt wonder. A kind of reverence that made the climb feel less like a task and more like a calling…. Whether you chase summits or seek quiet, may this piece offer what it gave me: a breath, a lift, and the strength to keep moving toward what stirs your soul.

18”x24”, oil painting done on panel, framed and ready to hang. Done with all non-toxic paints and sealed with a natural varnish that gives a subtle lavender scent. Comes with a beautiful hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
